About Rotorua Rafting deals.
Rotorua Rafting offers the ultimate experience in whitewater rafting on the Kaituna River.
Established in 2011, Rotorua Rafting is locally owned and operated by Kaituna born Sam Sutton, four x World Champion Extreme Whitewater Kayaker and medallist at the World Rafting Championships, you know you are rafting with the best in the industry.
Alongside the best kiwi senior guides, Rotorua Rafting has fast become the best rafting company in the region; this is not measured in numbers but in the stoke that customers receive from coming down the river with us.
Rafting year round, the Kaituna River is their playground and is home to not just one but three impressive waterfalls, which includes the highest commercially rafted waterfall in the world, Tutea Falls at 7m.
Perfect for the first-time rafter or the white water legend, Rotorua Rafting will guide you through one of the most beautiful rivers that New Zealand has to offer. This makes it the perfect group activity, whether it is for team building, corporate functions, conference groups, school groups or just a social group of friends. If you’re looking for a gentle cruise down the Kaituna for your grandma, or the full-on adrenalin junkie hit, we can tailor make your trip.
The bonus is that the Kaituna River is also one of the warmest rivers in New Zealand.
Located just 15 minutes from Rotorua in Okere Falls, the base is right opposite the “put in” point which makes them the closest to the river and by luck right next door is the Okere Falls store, which houses a German beer garden.
Rotorua Rafting will dress you up like a ninja and provide all rafters with the highest standard of gear, including wetsuits, booties (for your feet), lifejackets and helmets. They have it all so that all you need is a swimsuit and towel. Towel hire is available. And even hot showers for afterward before you head over to the store for that well-earnt beer.
Summer Departure – 9am, 10.30am, 12pm, 1.30pm, 3pm, others on demand
