Who is this?

Bream Bay is peaceful and welcoming, with beautiful lagoon blue ocean and soft white sand. It’s yet to be developed and is considered one of the most pristine, untouched beaches in New Zealand. The beach is over 15kms long and approximately only 100m from our guests’ units.

There are room options for singles, couples, and small to medium sized families. Ruakaka Beach Front Motel offers free Wi-Fi, free parking, accessible disability units, laundry facilities, a shared BBQ area, full MySky and the rooms are serviced daily. Every unit has a private bathroom and either a full kitchen or a kitchenette in the studio rooms. The full kitchens are equipped with a ceramic cooktop, an oven, a fridge/freezer and microwave. The kitchenettes are equipped an under bench fridge, microwave, and tea and coffee making facilities. All of the upstairs rooms offer private balconies, some north-facing and some with sea views.

Ruakaka Beach Front Motel is located right on the beach behind a public reserve. It’s an 8-minute drive from the Ruakaka Township, a 10-minute drive from Waipu, a 13-minute drive to Marsden Cove (Marsden Point Marina and Oil Refinery) and a 30-minute drive to Whangarei. It takes approximately 1.5 – 2 hours from Auckland.

Other than relaxing and exploring the beach, nearby activities include water sports such as kayaking, wakeboarding and skydiving, fishing charters, the popular Waipu Caves, Piroa Falls, and the Brynderwyn Walkway. There are nearby art galleries, museums, the Waipu Golf Course and the Whangarei Racetrack as well as restaurants and markets to enjoy.
